We are looking for a Technical Account Manager to join our global Business Development Team. The role is focused on providing technical sales engineering, solutions consulting and account management to our customers within the APAC region to maximise revenue and sales opportunities. This new role will also be focused on understanding and evaluating both the business and technical requirements of the customer to design solutions utilising a mix of Invenco and third party products. A key role within the Business Development APAC team, you’ll utilise your technical background to understand, evaluate and document business needs and technical requirements of our customers incorporating your sales engineering skills to identify and design solutions for our customers, manage key accounts and drive internal product teams through to delivery.

The core functions include Account Management, Customer Solution Management, Technical Sales Engineering, Tender and Delivery Management. It's a hands on role that requires someone with excellent communication skills, a strong technical background with account management experience


To be eligible for consideration, your CV should demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • 8-10 years experience in a similar role including 3-5 years experience in a technical accounts / sales
  • engineering role

  • Experience working in cross functional teams
  • Experience within the payment industry and a deep understanding of Payment Certifications, PCI-DSS, PCI-PED, POS, BOS etc
  • Experience working in a pre-sales or sales environment within the payment industry
  • IT industry experience
  • An understanding and relevant experience of formal sales methodologies, particularly those suited to long cycle product/solution
  • sales

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; ability to articulate suggested technical concepts,
  • sales approach and present proposals

  • Proven ability to build and sustain relationships internally and externally as well as the ability to up-sell opportunities
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Engineering or Marketing
