Product Manager (Atlanta)

We are looking for a Product Manager to work in either our Auckland or Alpharetta (Atlanta) offices or remotely to take charge of our hardware product line. We are looking for someone who will act as CEO for the product line, to be responsible for the top line, bottom line etc and to take full ownership.
You would need to be technical, with outstanding communication skills and be as comfortable speaking to the customers as you are our development team.
Among other things, the product manager’s role is to understand, evaluate and document the business needs and technical requirements of the Industry and to design roadmaps which enable our partners to address the needs of their customers. The role includes a mix of pre-sales, market / business analysis, leadership, P&L ownership and is an important champion for the customer and the company sales and technical teams.
To be suitable for this position, you will be an excellent communicator with a proven track record as Product Manager with a hardware focus (ideally with a payments background) and will have a CV that will demonstrate the following:
- Tertiary qualification coupled with relevant experience of 5+ years working in a similar role
- High degree of product specialisation, preferably a subject matter expert in payments and/or site/retail systems products
- Understands end user/customer business needs and able to translate into product requirements
- Strong analytical and business acumen
- Solid P&L leadership skills
- Ability to interpret and analyse market research data
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
